Busan is a bustling and most happening city in South Korea. It is second only to the South Korean capital Seoul. But, it has a lot to offer for the tourists visiting the city. I was told by a very good friend who traveled here for his Law Firm, Avant and fell in love with the city. I was thrilled to get a feel of the popular and historic temples, arts and culture as well as enjoy some sumptuous Korean food.

Top Places to Visit

  1. Busan Tower

If you like to see how Busan looks and feels from above, then visit this wonderful 120-meter high tower. It is an architectural marvel and a wonderful tower to get a grand view of the port.

  1. Gamcheon Culture Village

I would like to say that your trip to Busan is incomplete if you do not visit this colorful village. It is fully decorated with artworks, painting, and drawings that are filled with main stairs and narrow zigzag streets. Climb the mountain on winter village clings to get a bird’s eye view of the painted town.

  1. Haeundae Beach

This is a very attractive sandy beach that is on the edge of Busan city. I thoroughly enjoyed the lovely sunset here and also loved playing in the crystal clear sea water and sand.

  1. Haedong Yonggung Temple

This is a Buddhist temple that is located close to the coast. You get to see the sea from the temple. This is where you get to know more about the Korean religion. There is a staircase that leads to the temple and as you move along the side you find local street food delicacies sold on either side of the steps.

  1. Busan Aquarium

This is a must see aquarium for the entire family. It has over 35,000 varieties of fish, reptiles, and algae and gives you a complete insight into the marine ecosystem.

  1. Busan Modern History Museum

Am interested in knowing about the history of the city I visit and hence enjoyed every bit of time I spent at this museum. It has everything from details about Busan, its history, the Korean War and much more historical information.

Osaka – The Busiest City of Japan

The city has numerous amounts of concrete a building, which doesn’t make it a sight to behold or appreciate much, but if you’re on your tour to Japan, you have to head to this city for your shopping needs in reasonable rates and infinite varieties. But at night with all those neon lights shining, it gives a charming statement to the city. It houses live music and local art shows and also showcases amazing culinary scenes. You can dine from the street food to the exquisite dining scenes. Osaka is very popular for its fun entertainment attractions.

Denden Town

The town is literally known as the electric town, this place is the most popular for shopping cheap and the best of electronic goods. All your needs will be fulfilled right here. This town carries the liveliest of products apart from electronic goods, like costumes and comics and stuff. It houses many gaming arcades and stores for adult entertainment.

Universal Studios

This is the most loved attractions in Japan. And Osaka housing it earns the most from its tourism. The theme park is located on the outskirts of the Osaka city. It houses various known attractions such as Harry Potter’s Wizarding World or Jaws and it also houses its self made exclusive shows like Cool Japan. There are certain escape room arcades available with themes such as monster hunting or the Scouts of the sailor, and they provide them in 7D experiences.  

Kuromon Ichiba Market

It is a local market facility, and it hosts more than 150 stalls whose major style is for food tastings and some of them serve the ancient Japanese artifacts. Apart from being a market, it is a business hub for Chefs to bloom their food stalls. You can go on a tasting tour here. It will cost you around 300 yen.

Ontario’s London

Ontario’s London, like the one in England too, is based on the Thames River. The best way to explore this city is by traveling on a double-decker tourist bus. They provide the tourists with a two-hour trip, of discovering this city. The most of the discovering involves spotting the historical museums and ruin sites.  There are several villages you can take a tour of it that interests you. There are several museums you can visit; famous of them all is the open air museum.

Niagara Falls

The most popular and internationally acquainted heritage they Canada beholds is the Niagara Falls. The Niagara falls have about three sections; the middle section of those is the steepest standing at 57 meters. It is famous for the huge amount of water it carries. When you’re present there, with the noise that amount of water makes, you cannot hear even your own voice, and it is that grand. You can take a guided tour around the edges of the falls, so as to get hold of the spectacular beauty. The mornings for the view are the best.

Canada’s Wonderland

At least thirty kilometers away from the main Ontario city is one of the largest scaled amusement parks counted amongst the others from around the world. It is popularly known for the intensity of its thrill rides such as roller coasters. There are several other theme parks inside the wonderland like the water park and the dinosaur park. There is several live stage shows held and costume parades that are mighty spectacular.

Lake of the Woods

The large lake is a very incredibly scenic spot for going out on a picnic with your family. There is several fishing trips organized that you can be a part of or you can also opt for boating in the lake. It is a very calming and relaxing location; you will not want to leave.

Nara – Birthing of Civilization

Nara is said to be the place that marked the origination of civilization and being the former capital hosts the splendid collection of the heavenly historical sites. The city boasts with a number of historical enthusiasts. The city is easily explorable on foot or on bikes and the best highlight of Nara city is its Buddha Statue located in the Todai-ji temples. There are several other temples and museums that showcase the Japanese art and the traditions that have been coming a long way.

Isui-En Garden

This park is one of the most picturesque parks of all times, I found several amazing spots here, under the tall trees or by the stepping stones river, it’s just more than enough to see such beauty all in one place. The park was opened in 1969 and is home to the Neiraku Art Museum. It becomes a very enjoyable outing when both the museum and the park is teamed up. The park also houses two best tea houses, where you can get hand of traditional Japanese tea and drink it too the authentic way. The stepping stones in the park inspired the Japanese show Takeshi’s Castle to introduce a game named the “Stepping stones”. The entry to park is for 10 yen.

Kasuga-Taisha Shrine

This temple was discovered during the late 8th century and hosts in itself four different buildings dedicated to the ancestral gods and divinities. The temple consists of timber walls and the beams covering the temple are covered in bright red color, providing the visitors with a very positive and vibrant atmosphere. I visited in February so you can get hold to be the part of lantern festival which happens in both February and August. It is a sight to behold.

Ninja Museum of Igaryu

If you’re traveling with kids then this is the best place to spend time and run their curiosities through the lane. This museum offers ninja classes to kids and showcases the ninja tricks and tips, which is an absolute fun trip for your children. The timings for the sake are 10 am to 7 pm and the tickets are worth 40 yen for a span of 2 hours.

Nagasaki – The Food Town of Japan

Nagasaki is a perfect picturesque place for you. Its location is sublime, overshadowed by the hills looking above to the harbor does not let you feel that this same city was once struck by an atomic bomb attack. Most of the visitors roam around the memorials and the monuments, but apart from these, the city has to offer obvious other attractions like its very famous streets for superb tasting food. It is a very charming cosmopolitan city. It also houses the major trading ports for Japan. And it highlights the hue of Japan’s western and eastern culture together.

Local Chinatown

It is not the original Chinatown, but as its name suggests it is local and will serve you the tastiest and spiciest street food of Japan. Some kinds of snacks are there, you haven’t even heard about. The most famous cuisines for these street foods are sea-foods. Most famous snacks included in their street food is the Kakuni-Manju which is a traditional pork cutlet, which is first marinated, cooked and then served in a bun with their secret spicy sauce. There are several sweet treats available too like pound cakes and chocolate steam cakes.

Nagasaki Penguin Aquarium

This aquarium is situated at least 30 minutes outside the main city. It houses hundreds of penguins and you can take a hard look at them from the underwater tanks, and spot them swimming around. You can take the tour of this aquarium on weekends as they also provide you with feeding frenzy for the penguins. Feeding them with your own hands is an experience you will never forget, these creatures are inexplicably cute. It also houses other water lives such as catfishes. You can also find a beach, besides the aquarium if you want to rest with your family. The entry fee for the aquarium is around 300 yen.
